Blog on Hold

Sorry to do this folks, but it's become obvious that the Alcovia project is progressing slower than I had hoped. As such, I am going to declare this blog on hold for the time being.

Why?

I could continue to post news bites about the conflict and I'm sure that would be fun, but in doing so, I would end up telling so much of the story that by the time I got miniatures on the table there would be little story left to tell.

The project is not dead and I'm still going to be working on models and miniatures as I can, but until I have something more material to show, I'm not going to be doing a lot of the fluff posts here.

Please stay tuned and Alcovia will be back when I can put more time into it.

Thanks!

-Eli

Hi Eli....but not for long!

Maff and I have just received our first ex-Soviet armour. My ex-Soviet infantry are here and on the painting station. However, there's been what we hope will be a short setback with the main set of Warsaw Pact figures we hoped to use as Alcovians.

Cheers
Mark

Thanks for the heads-up. It's great that you and Maff are on board for this project.

You could always add some detail about Alcovia itself and its history until you are ready to progress with the project.

It will keep your hand in and is quite an interesting exercise in itself.

Looking forwards to the continuation of this as and when it happens!

Sorry to hear about the hold on the blog. I really liked the story and it looked like it was going to start to get very interesting in Alcovia. Hope your back soon.

Historical bits may be the way to go.
